How this works

A plain-language guide to changing the rules of a token from a public chamber.

01 · PURPOSE

What is SRR?

SRR is an ERC-20 governance token whose holders control its operating parameters. Buy and sell taxes, liquidity fees, limits, tax routing, the treasury, the token name, the ticker, and the governance rules themselves can all be changed through a typed proposal and on-chain vote.

“Governance for the rest of us.”

The interface is formal because the contracts are formal. The decisions are left to the chamber.

How voting works

Your power is a snapshot

Your voting power equals your SRR balance at the proposal's start block. Buying after voting begins does not count for that proposal. Power activates automatically when tokens reach your wallet, so there is no delegation screen.

  1. Hold. One SRR represents one vote. A wallet needs 0.10% of supply at the snapshot to vote.
  2. Propose. Hold at least 0.10% of supply and have no other live motion.
  3. Vote. Choose Aye, Nay, or Abstain during the five-minute voting period.
  4. Execute. A motion needs 75% Ayes and at least five distinct voters, then waits in the timelock.

Anti-gaming rules

Moving a bag after the snapshot moves zero power for an in-flight motion, so shuffling one balance between wallets cannot vote twice. The proposer must still hold 0.10% when voting ends or the motion is automatically forfeited.

The LP position is minted to the deployer and locked in a locker after launch. Trading enablement is one-way. After launch, ownership of the token and hook moves to the governance contract.

06 · RISKS

Read this before clicking anything

This is a meme. Governance can raise taxes to 100%, rename the token, move treasury assets after a vote, and generally embarrass you. The LP is locked but your dignity isn't. Don't put in rent money.

07 · FAQ

Frequently entered objections

Can the deployer change the taxes?+

Not after ownership transfers to governance. A successful motion is required.

Can I change my vote?+

No. The clerk records one ballot per address per motion.

Does buying during a vote give me power?+

Not for that vote. The snapshot already happened.

Who executes passed motions?+

Anyone. Execution is public after the timelock.
